Meditation is another special way to focus intention, connect with the divine consciousness or to affirm paths to spiritual development. Meditation is not particular to the yogic or Buddhist tradition, indeed, meditation is practiced among the diverse cultures of the western as well as the eastern world.
The guided meditations I write are usually step-by-step visualizations to welcome rest, to focus on an intention, or to free ourselves from emotional or spiritual burdens.
